Virden Mar-Dee Yard Person
We are looking for a full time term yard person for Mar-Dee Virden.
Monday – Friday work.
Duties include: reading pumps, keeping pump islands and unloads clear of snow and debris safely. This means shovelling, chipping ice, sweeping. Emptying garbage, filling windshield washer and absorb all. Creating oil orders, stocking the warehouse, keeping the warehouse neat and tidy. Counting products in the oil shed monthly. Fixing or repairing hoses, breakaways, etc. involved with the pumps. Delivering oil to various places. We have a cardlock at Kola where you are required to read the pumps there as well as keep the sheds and pump area clean of snow and debris. So at least a valid Class 5 license will be required. Training for WHMIS, TDG and First Aid will also be required but we will make the arrangements for that. Ability to move a 205L drum with the aid of a barrel mover.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as on your own.
We require that you can read and write.
Assisting with anything the office person requires.
You will be required to write out counter invoices, so ability to take direction is a necessity.
Thinking constructively is required.
Ability to assist customers with their oil/nonpetroleum related questions, take fuel orders from customers either by phone or in person.
Keeping the office tidy
Ability to work in the elements.
