ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK

WINNIPEG
WRCFS is a mandated First Nations child and family services Agency responsible to provide a full range of services, including statutory services, voluntary services and prevention services to the children and families of its eight First Nations, residing on and off reserve. The purpose of the programs of WRCFS is to sustain, support, and enhance family and community life. This position is based out of the Winnipeg Sub Office on Sherbrook Street and is a Term position.
Reporting to the Administration Manager, the individual will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Urban Service team. Duties include, but are not limited to the following; set up and track transportation/supervision requests, maintaining data base and entry, liaison with staff, provide clerical & administrative support, collection of statistics, typing, photocopying.
QUALIFICATIONS:

-Minimum Grade 12 (preference will be given to post secondary education)

-Clerical background and typing skills of 40 wpm

-Must have computer training and/or knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

-Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written

-Good administrative and organizational skills

-Must have pleasant and professional personality and telephone manners

-Knowledge of and appreciation for Ojibway culture and aspirations are essential

-Must be able to work independently but also be able to work as part of a team

-Must be able to travel and have reliable means of transportation

SALARY: Commensurate with experience and training and according to Provincial pay scale.
